The Matthew 25 Committee receives a designated monthly budget and distributes these funds to people who need assistance in maintaining the basic needs of living in areas such as:
· Emergency Repairs
Each month a Matthew 25 committee volunteer is on call to respond to urgent requests for help. Reasonable financial donations are provided to assist in meeting requests for critical needs. Calls may come directly from individuals or from a local support agency calling on behalf of an individual or family.
Other Matthew 25 activities include:
· Coordinating Advent Giving Trees for families in need, local charities, and McConnellsburg Children’s Christmas gifts
· Shopping and delivery of Easter food baskets for individuals or families in need
· Make and deliver soup in support of St. Paul’s Bread Basket Lunch community outreach
