Topics in Catholicism

Almost 1,000 years ago, the great Saint Anselm of Canterbury talked about Faith Seeking Understanding.  I completely agree.  I have spent several years trying to understand my Catholic Christian Faith more and more, allowing me to grow in my Faith.  And now, I have reached the point where I feel I have been called to share some of the aspects of my Faith that I have come to better understand.  As I look around at our world today, I believe that Faith is needed now more than ever.  So, I am starting a new weekly Adult Faith Formation Program called Topics in Catholicism.  I am willing to lead many of the sessions in sharing topics of our Catholic Christian Faith, and I hope others will be willing to step up at times to do the same.  Therefore, I am inviting you to join me on Thursday evenings at 7:00 in Agape Hall at the Church of the Good Shepherd, beginning on September 22, 2022.  All are welcome.

God Bless All of You,

I have put together a number of presentations on various Topics in Catholicism, from which people can choose to include for our Adult Faith Formation sessions. Here is a listing of the presentations: Adult Faith Formation Presentations.

Here is a listing of the topics covered thus far, including the upcoming topic: Adult Faith Formation Topics.

From the presentation entitled “Catholics in the Movies,” here is a list of the Catholic movies in that presentation: Catholic Movies.

From the presentation entitled “A Library of Catholic Books,” here is a list of the Catholic books in that presentation: Catholic Books.

Topics in Catholicism has been put on hold indefinitely. Thank you to all who have attended and made adult faith formation a priority in your lives. Hopefully I will see many of you and others for future topics. -Bill Zierke
