OTHER RELIGIOUS EDUCATION OPPORTUNITIES
Various adult educational opportunities are offered throughout the year. Since topics and times vary, please watch the bulletin for announcements of the programs and their schedules. A few of the programs to watch for include the following:

Bible Study/Prayer Groups
Various groups meet regularly to study and share the Word of God. A variety of resources is utilized to accommodate the needs of the groups, information regarding meeting times, location, and facilitator's phone numbers can be found in the bulletin.

Catechist Training
Open to all, these diocesan-sponsored workshops and courses are designed to cover the foundations of doctrine and methods of teaching, paying particular attetion to the requests of the participants. Call the Religious Education Office or check the bulletin for more information.

Parochial School
There is one parochial school shared between Our Lady of Victory and Good Shepherd Parishes in the State College area for grades Kindergarten through the eighth grade. Visit OLV's web site for additional information or call (814) 238-1592.

Lay Formation and Ministry Training
These diocesan-sponsored courses are designed for those wishing to further enhance their faith knowledge and spirituality for personal fulfillment and/or to gain the background in their faith to enable them to function in various church ministries with confidence. For more information check the pamphlet rack in the Gathering Space or call the church office.

Vacation Bible School
Each summer a weeklong adventure is offered to children of all faiths. The theme for this program varies each year and pre-registration with the Director of Religious Education is required. Watch for bulletin announcements for dates or call the church office for information.
